Since using the new beta application for Roku, features in the music section of the application are very basic. There is no option for both Radio for an artist on their page or Plex Mix for a particular song. Lyrics are visible and look great.

Overall, the application runs night and day compared to the current and older application in general release of the Plex Roku application. Menus are easier to access and the load times are vastly improved. Searching for items within your library look and feel great as well.

Aside from this, music features must be updated to see whether environment would be different with this beta or stay the same. In other worlds, would the app act differently if the features to start Artist Radio and Plex Mix were added?

If any Plex Employee can respond with feedback, that would be great. I am willing to participate and provide any additional feedback.

There’s still bits missing here and there in this version, but the features you mention are already in the pipeline.

Thank you for the feedback. I am impressed with the overall design and new look of the client.

One thing the development team for this application should consider in the future, not now, is next year’s update of the Roku OS platform which will gain Google Assistant and how that might work with Plex as well. It’s already on the SHIELD TV client so it’s just a matter of working with what that development team has done and include it with the ROKU development team.

If there is any other actions or other stuff the team wants me to look at with this release, please let members such as myself know.
