I’ve been a Plex Pass member for over 10 years but only recently started using the whole package for my music because it was always lacking features that other media managers have. It’s okay but still missing some essential items. If you can tell me how to do the following that would be awesome but if you can’t hopefully plex can add these things.
Here goes:
Shuffle playback of a playlist without playing all songs from one artist back to back.
Order tracks in a playlist by preference such as alphabetically or most importantly by Beats Per Minute! My collection is tagged properly and all the other media managers I have used let’s me order my playlist this way.
Crossfade between tracks, this doesn’t work very well there is always gaps or silence between tracks. All other software I have used allows detailed settings for this such as over lap time and milliseconds of silence.
All the functionality is good for what works but we are missing some really important details.
