I am using clever playlists based on ratings … so I add new music into Plex and then rate musics EVERYWHERE (so using my mobile phone)
I BOUGHT PLEX PASS ONLY FOR THIS !! 
It is not possible anymore to rate a music into the IOS APP 
PLEASE PLEASE ROLL BACK and give us back this functionnality

Hi, thanks for reporting. The ratings have been moved to the More menu of a track (tap the 3 dots or long press on a track) when you view an artist or an album. The engineering team will look into bringing it back to the More menu during playback.

I have been a community manager aswell so I know how your work is diffucult. If the team needs more reasons
I do use Plex while I am running and rate songs that are being played. But it is more and more difficult. And now even impossible.
Untill some months ago I had 1 click (rating directly available on the playing screen)
Untill fews days ago I had 2 clicks (rating available in the menu during playback)
Now I have 4 clicks (menu of the song being played > go to album > clic menu of the song > rate)
Please give a hug to your engineering team if they do accept to bring back this functionality with as few clicks as possible

Even better right from the song being played. There is plenty of room and gain access with one click. For some reason I am fixated on ranking each of the songs in my library. The current new access makes this effort, an effort. If the ratings were right there life would be easier.

A new public beta is now available 8.8 (3668) that has the fix
We can install / test ! It could be great 
How do we install a beta on ios ?
Follow the steps listed here and you should be able to sign up for beta via TestFlight app Join App Betas: Android (mobile), Android TV, Apple TV, iOS
That’s look good ! 
The best things would be to have the functionality directly on the playing screen (instead to have to go into the menu)
But at least works better now !
