I searched and found lots of threads going back nearly 10 years talking about adding visualizers but nothing definitive seems to have happened.
PlexAMP works great for most use cases but since upgrading our TV to an OLED I’m nervous about using the plex music player through an NVIDIA Shield because of the static image. Is there any known workaround or alternative to play music through my plex server onto a TV? I believe I read that Plex has essentially no plans to add PlexAMP to android TV so that option is out.
Turning off the TV is not really a practical option as it means disabling CEC which for my use case works perfectly as it is now and is very convenient for all other uses. It also would add an annoyance in controlling playback with needing to turn the TV on to change songs/albums etc.
