Can anybody help me please my Western digital Nas PR 4100 since Plex has been installed on it and other versions of Western digital clouds . I’ve done other people’s clouds todon’t go in standby anymore I want to save power is there any way to make them go in standby if nobody’s using them still without losing any features?
plex is intended to stay on 24/7.
if your nas did sleep, then plex would not work (at least until the nas woke up).
if you just want the drives to spin down, make sure that plex rescan interval is disabled or set to an applicable delay.
you might also have to disable top 2 check marks (not sure if/how that will affect ‘sleep’).
