My photo Upload album just vanished!

Rebuilt my plex server today then decided to start using the camera upload feature. I created an “Uploads” album that I could drop everything into. I then saw it on the server. However when I checked back suture after the sun had disappeared!

Also, where does Plex actually upload the files to? I want to use Plex app to backup photos from our phones, but I then want to sync the files to my photo archive for processing. Assumed it may have been in the default Windows pictures folder. Or even one of the folders I’ve added to my library.

Try looking in:

C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Plex Media Server\Media Upload\Mobile Photos

and make sure the library you created on the server is pointing to the folder.

I had actually been looking under the Album group and the folder was in the default photo group!
