My plex app won't connect to my ps4

Hi, new to this so sorry if I’m been stupid.

I have recently got plex and wanted to stream some videos from my phone to my ps4. My ps4 is linked to my account and I have also activated my android phone.

When I go onto the plex app on my ps4 it says please download plex on to the device with all your content or soemthing along those lines

Both devices are on the same network and I have also enabled advertise as server.

Are you trying to cast content saved on your phone to the Plex app on the PS4? Do you have a Plex Media Server setup somewhere in your network?

The PS4 app cannot communicate directly with other Plex clients, it needs PMS to be a middle man of sorts.
