Plex Media Server Logs_2021-10-24_20-39-58.zip (3.6 MB)
My plex server is crashing all the time from yesterday, it happens every 5 minutes and I can’t understand what is happening, it is a server that works in Ubuntu 18.04 lts, I am attaching the log files in case someone can help me know what is generating that error.
Something is commanding the system to shutdown (Signal 15 – aka. kill -15 or kill SIGTERM)

Debug logging is the default and desired level.
Verbose logging adds too much information to the log files. It makes them difficult to read.
The log files have a size limit. Once the limit is reached, the earliest entries are lost. When verbose logging is enabled, the log files may hit the limit fast enough that desirable information is lost, hindering problem diagnosis.

I followed the instructions to have cleaner logs, I don’t know if the reason why the command appears is because I am forced to use the command “sudo snap restart plexmediaserver” to regain access, every 5 minutes I have to do it because of suddenly falls for no reason

Do you want a minimized (SNAP) installation of Plex or do you want the full Plex server?
If you don’t want the SNAP version, You’ll need to start over with the full native installation. (which has access to the hardware for transcoding)
sudo snap remove --purge plexmediaserver
Then you’ll download Plex for your machine Media Server Downloads | Plex Media Server for Windows, Mac, Linux, FreeBSD and More which will be the Ubuntu 64 bit one.
Lastly, Open a terminal window
cd Downloads
sudo dpkg -i plexmediaserver--blah-blah-whatever-the-name-is.deb
The installer will run and then you’ll be able to start the native app setup.
I’m sure you have questions so don’t hesitate to ask before jumping in this one.
