My Synology PlexMediaServer folder takes up a lot of storage

Hello,

My Synology PlexMediaServer folder currently holds 10.26 GB of data. I find that rather much considering I do not have that much music or movies (no more than 25 GB of music an about 15 movies that indeed are large).

I see that the largest folders within PlexMediaServer is
Metadata 1,45 GB
Cache 6,21 GB
Media 1,78 GB

Now I tried to delete the Preview Thumbnails as suggested in this thread:

But it did nothing at all.

Can I safely delete the Cache folder or the contents within?

I tried to dele this from the iOS app(reset cache), but nothing happened there either.

Is there something else I should consider?

Following your suggestion I was able to free up 6,2 GB out of the 10!
