My TV library won't show content - please help

Hello, I’ve added the 1977 TV show ‘Roots’ to my TV show library in the following folder [Plex/TV shows/Roots/Season1/Part 1]… etc. All my other TV shows appear when using this folder structure and the TV show is named on thetvdb.com. If I move the content into a movie library then it appears but the show is a TV show and has episodes, so I don’t want it in my Movie library.

Has anyone got any suggestions?

I suggest you bring your TV Show files and folders into compliance with Plex Naming Standards:

I also suggest you don’t attempt to rename/restructure ANYTHING while it’s in a library and Plex can see it. I suggest you do:

The Plex Dance®:

  1. remove entire show from library
  2. update library
  3. clean bundles
  4. empty trash

  5. rename/restructure items to be in compliance with Plex Naming/Structuring guidelines
  6. replace items/show into library
  7. update library
