I tried to use MyPlex in Rasplex, but it seems forcing transcoding into a lower Mbps is completely ignored af the moment.
I changed the setting to 4mbps (and even Mbps) but the quality of the movie stays to same.
So I’m guessing only direct playback is working for know. Is this a known problem or is there any workaround?
I’ve discovered today when you enable force transcoding in the prefferences - network tab transcoding does work, but in this case also local media will be transcoded.
So it seems the transcoding function itself is working only the myplex transcoding option (in: prefferences - system - myplex) isn’t working
