more than once, I’'m still at a loss as to how should I organize/ name the episodes from this DVD.
The episodes aren’t necessarily in any production order, but appear to be favorites picked by the person/company that makes the DVD.
Ideas anyone?
The cover of that DVD says it follows the original release order
How many episodes are there?
1934-1936 covers seasons 1 thru 3

Ok, thanks, I didn’t pay attention to that.
I have 20 files ripped with makemkv, I haven’t gone through them yet so one might be an “extra/behind the scenes”
It looks like the TVDB has a total of 19 episodes for Season 1 thru season 3.
If you have more episodes than that, yes I’m sure it will be in the Specials
In the specials it looks like there are episodes between 1934 and 1936. You will find anything you’re missing between S00E19-S00E51. Just put it in a folder named Specials or Season 00
Anything you name as a special will play in order compared to the rest of the series. Things get fed to the continue watching by the release date, not the s01e01 marker
This might help for renaming things. It’s free and pretty easy to use
I’m trying this program out now. This worked out great for the 3 stooges dvd posted previously.
