Naming issue: Most movie titles in my library just reverted back to the filename instead of the title?

… and what was the reason you didn’t simply demote LMA - wherein Plex will simply STOP looking in and preferring embedded titles in mp4 files for ALL current mp4 files - leaving you to not worry about it, other than removing said metadata easily via the ‘Details Pane’ in your WExplorer on arrival (from now on)?

Video File Naming

With LMA in priority, Embedded Titles within MP4/M4V files are preferred - even over a perfect file name. Local Media Assets should - AT ALL TIMES - remain enabled (unless specifically instructed to turn it off). Local Media Assets should be ‘Demoted’, to the bottom of the stack of active agents under ALL tabs in Shows and Movies, but should NOT be disabled. I absolutely couldn’t bear the thought of ANY metadata in my video files (OCD - out of control), but others may be able to live with it - so long as it’s not making your life miserable.
