I have a trouble with Plex on my NAS.
When i launch a video, the video is laggy. This is not a 4K Vidéo, just 480p…
I’ve find the start of a solution, when i’m on the video. I have to go on the settings and click on “convert automatically”…
But so boring to do this when i launch one video…

I’m not trying, just I say that when I click on “Convert Automically” it works like a charm…
I try to understand.

What player are you using to watch videos? The web app? Plex for Mac? an iPhone? a Smart TV?
Where are you watching, inside your home?
Players have settings for Direct Play and Direct Stream. You want those enabled.
Players have a setting for Home Streaming to Use Recommended Settings
