I’ve been having a problem recording “One Chicago” on NBC. These are 3 consecutive shows, but apparently NBC is not starting them at the exact times that the Guide shows and I seem to miss a bit at the start and or end of the shows. I tried extending the times for each recording by 2 minutes at each end but there were still problems. Anyone else having this problem and or have a solution?
… and my tuner has 4 ports, so that theoretically I can record 4 different shows, I just don’t know how that works if they’re on the same channel.
…trying to extend before and after times doesn’t work either… apparently from what I’ve been reading networks are staggering their start and end times to retain viewers… is there any way Plex can account for this or are we doomed to miss start and end of live recorded shows?
Try scheduling only the 1st of the shows, then extend the “minutes after end” recording duration. You might want to use the web app to do this, as other apps may not allow a freeform input.
