Happened now the fourth or fifth time: I have 40 active channels from 830. From time to time nearly all channels except 4 or 5 are wiped out. So my EPG only has 4 or 5 channels. Previously the wiped out channels where unselected and i have to map them again. Actually the 40 active channels are still selected and properly mapped, but my epg has even after several epg rebuilds only 4 channels.
I have exactly the same Problem.
Are you running virtual or proxy tuners in addition to a physical tuner?
No, running Digital Devices Octopus NET V2 with 8 DVB-C Tuners
I am not familiar with that equipment. However, if there is a setting that broadcasts channel or guide updates in the device interface, turn it off.
No, there are no broadcast settings on this device.
Would you be able to post debug level Plex Media Server logs from shortly after you notice the channels missing the next time? We may be able to pick up info from the logs to get an idea about what is causing this.
Is UPnP or DNLA enabled?
DLNA isn’t enabled, UPNP on my Router is off. Is there a way to recover my epg without doing all new? Acutally my epg has still only 5 channels from my 40 activated channels even after manually epg actualisation.
I still have logs, but i don’t know if the time when i discover the lost in my epg is the time it happened. Also the logs seems to contains sensitive data (my email). I there a secure way to provide logs?
After channels could not be recovered, i deleted the tuner in plex and made it new, i could rercover the channels. Redone also my recording schedule. After 2 failed recordings, i tried to watch live tv and even this does not more work.
The tuner still works (tested with DVB>IP TV on my Smartphone)
