Hello everyone,
I am currently experiencing a problem with plex. When I watch a movie, at times totally random, the movie stops, and the round of loading turns as if it was reloading the movie or it could not convert it. I have to stop and resume playback to instantly restart the movie.
I tested under different interfaces, IOS, Web (Chrome and Firefox), Xbox. There is only on my iPad or I have no break. I did not have this problem 3 months ago, but since some update plex via the plex pass I encounter this problem.
The plex server is currently installed on a NAS, so some will tell me that it is the nas that is not powerful enough. But now, I have 2 big NAS, one at home, the other at my parents for a remote replication. On both nas, plex is installed and both has the same configuration concerning the media. I am experiencing exactly the same problems on both servers.
Here is the NAS configuration:
Primary NAS:
Model: Qnap TVS-882
CPU: intel core I5-6500 3.20Ghz
Ram: 32 GB ram
DD: Raid 0 6X6To + SSD cache m.2 2X500GO
Connection: SFP 10Gb
Plex: 1.12.0.4829
Secondary NAS:
Model: Qnap TVS-671
CPU: intel core I5-4590S 3.00Ghz
Ram: 16 GB ram
DD: Raid 0 6X6To
Connection: LAN 4X1Gbs
Plex: 1.12.0.4829
Both NAS and Plex are up to date, there is no task running in the background. I have exactly the same problem on both servers while I did not have it before.
Do you have an idea about my problem?
