I'm running Linux Mint 17 (Cinnamon). I installed PHT and it works just fine. I plugged in my Asus Digital Home IR receiver, installed lirc, and I'm able to see the proper buttons pressed when I view /etc/lirc/irw.
But that's it. The remote doesn't work in Plex, nor on the desktop. I'm not 100% sure it would do anything on the desktop but I figured it wouldn't hurt to try it.
When I go into the Preferences section for System, choose input devices, peripherals is greyed out.
I'm a little stumped and not sure where to turn to next.
Anyone know what I'm missing here?
