I was wondering if someone had some experience in the area maybe and could help me out.
I’m trying to get GPU transcoding working with these specs -
Intel i5-9400F (no onboard graphics)
Quadro 4000 2gb DDR5 - seems to be working so far, drivers installed and it shows up in task manager
32gb Memory - I read somewhere that it might be possible to leverage extra RAM to use for transcoding as well.
I set up the server and enabled hardware transcoding but when I streamed a video from another PC in my house it was 4k → 1080p and it was working fine but when I check the dashboard, CPU utilization was at 100% and the GPU was nowhere to be seen. RAM usage was also SUPER low.
Any help would be great, please let me know if you need any more info!
