Need the Beta Repo for Linux

Server Version#:1.26.0.5715

I am having the same troubles as some with my DVR “successfully” recording then having no file saved anywhere to watch. It was brought to my attention the Beta version just released today should be fixed after a refresh of the DVR Chanel list.

I would like to just point my Linux LXC containing plex to the proper repo for Plex beta versions in my APT sources list.

I currently have- deb https://downloads.plex.tv/repo/deb/ public main

What do I change this to to select the “BETA” repo? I have to do it manually otherwise which is a pain.

I have tried

deb https://downloads.plex.tv/repo/deb/ beta main
deb https://downloads.plex.tv/repo/deb/ public beta

I have been searching this online, in forums, all over and I can not find the repo lists anywhere. I can find older versions archived by others like on git hub, but nothing referring how to change this.

Because I run linux, the selection to select a “Server Update Channel” to Beta does nothing for me beside tell me a update is ready. BUT because my repo is set to public/main there is no update available for me to select after running apt update.

This would be a nice option to have this work with linux like it does with windows and other systems like Nvidia Shield.

I would appreciate any help here.

There’s no “beta” repo.
You can install the beta version using a script. There’s a number of such scripts discussed in the forum. The most recent I could find is this rather simple one (needs to be triggered manually and will install the latest version it finds)
