For the Netgear R9000 being used as the Plex Media Server, is it NetGear responsibility to provide Plex updates for the router or Plex. And if it’s NetGear’s, does Plex play any role in assisting NetGear with updates?
From my discussion with NetGear, the tech person indicated NetGear will no longer be providing updates for Plex, that the 1.22.3.4392 version is the last.
I know a lot of Plex users are not in favor of using this router as the server, but it has always worked well for me, until now since Plex requires version 1.24.4 or higher.
Besides the questions above, any thoughts and/or suggestions that will get my router fully fuctional again? (eg: Live TV and recordings)
