New App missing previous version functions/features

Where do I begin!!!
Aside from the butchering of IOS app… the most notable issues:

  1. Since you removed the Side Bar in the App, its much more arduous to customize my libraries, I want my personal library arrangement back!
  2. Sort filter for Date Added was removed… so can’t sort my library on the App, but the Date Added still exists in the Web interface… thankfully.
  3. Can’t search my local media libraries via the App, that are not commercially available movies or shows. But I can via the Web interface.

The new app sucks! I now resort to using the web, since the app is all but useless to me!

In what way? I just want to pass specific feedback to design team. If you long press on library at the bottom reordering favorites should be there. https://support.plex.tv/articles/manage-favorite-libraries/

No it wasn’t. What type of library are you doing this in?

Can you provide some examples? Are these unmatched titles in a Movie or Shows library or just movie or shows in an Other Video library?

I have a set of videos that contain “how to” in the title. In the plex Web, I can easily search my entire local collection via the search tool for “how to” and those titles all appear.
I try the exact same search in the IOS plex app, or the Roku plex app or the android based app and get zero results.

These are located in Other Videos, not in movies or shows

when i look at tv shows, browse my library, the sort by date added is NO LONGER a choice in the app, but it still is in the web browser based.
