Some of my librariers are missing on my iPhone app, but they appear on all other clients

Server Version#:
Player Version#: 2025,25,0 (1245)

I have several libraries on my Server. They all appear just fine on my Macbook, Roku devices, and Web browsers. On the IOS app, all but four libraries appear, but the four I want to use on my phone (of course) don’t appear. I have clicked on “All Libraries.” All but the two I want appear just fine.

On the iPhone app, I get an error Media (the server name) Relay Connection with a blue exclamation point. All the libraries that appear play just fine.

Does anhone have any idea how to force the app to find the two missing libraries?

Are the missing libraries by chance music and photo libraries?
Those are not currently supported by the mobile apps on Android and iOS. Though, Plex announced they’ll bring those back (starting with the Roku app).

They ARE music, playlists, and photos. They show up on all my Roku devices, Web browser, and MacBook client, but not on iOS. I guess it is good to know that this is a known software issue that will be addressed someday. In the meantime, it is frustrating becaue the music and playlists are exactly what I wanted to access while on a long drive.

By the way, I don’t like the new UI. I miiss the libraries down the left side of the screen. I suppose there is no way to have that experience with the new app.

You might want to take a look at the Plexamp app (Plex‘s dedicated music player).

Are they going to force the use of PlexAmp? I like having a single all for all my libraries.

As per the announcement linked above … no, the other library types will be added back.
Though, Plexamp should give you a better experience for music (not least because it focuses on music and doesn’t have to be a jack-of-all-trades).

I’ve loaded the app. It’s pretty good. It took me a while to tailor the UI to my liking. Thanks for the pointer.
