New app "Plex" question

Hi,

before I download this and lose the current version, I would like to ask some questions:

1] Is this only in the UNO format?
2] If only UNO, will we lose the ability to filter/sort “Live TV” as can be done in the current/old Plex media Player? I ask excuse this capability seems to be lost on all the UNO formatted apps I have seen so far. Examples below:

You’ll don’t lose anything, because it can be installed beside PMP and the web app.

  2. it’s looking just like the current ‘hosted’ web app, which means it is also missing the filters you are after.

Does that mean it is Plex’s intention to lose these filters permanently or is that coming back in a future update? I find it very useful to search for films using the sort “by release date” and for shows but genre.

I can’t tell you about intentions. I know that it has been reported as missing.
