First off for any Plex reps here, the new Xbox app sucks and it needs to be reverted.
Now with that off my shoulder and to try to make the most of a ■■■■■■ app, is there a way to stop Plex from showing all the videos from all the libraries being shared with me? I want to see my videos only, not all of my friends as well.
Also, why did we lose our custom libraries? Now all my documentaries and TV shows are mixed together and hard to find.

It can’t be reverted. The old app was on the old framework so the team is unable to submit the app back to microsoft as a standalone legacy version.

Currently, no. The UX team is looking to improve this area but nothing has been released for the plans to address this problem.

Nothing was removed, you should be able to move to the TV Shows section and hit the up arrow to show a list of all the libraries which you can then browse independently just like normal, if you hit the ‘A’ button you will navigate into the selected library.

I don’t understand why this was changed in the first place? Were people asking for this feature?
In the case of the Xbox One app, the entire app was rewritten since it had to be moved from the old framework to the new UWP framework. During that time, the new UI was focused on making all media available to the user more discoverable for that user. That was the reason the app moved to show all all shared libraries and a combined on deck for those libraries.
As a Ninja I had/have no access to the actual discussions by the UX teams or how the requirements were created or where they were created from. So I couldn’t say if people were specifically asking for this or if they were where it came from.
