With the new model for 2021 can we (finally) have full audio passthrough for Dolby Atmos and DTS:X? Maybe pressure Apple for this? Pretty please?
The Infuse dev has been asking for years without any luck.
Passthrough audio has nothing to do with the hardware… I don’t know what a new 2021 AppleTV has to do with that feature.
It’s a software/firmware limitation by Apple, most theorize to allow their features to be baked in and work.
I fully understand it’s just a matter of crippled software and I firmly believe the current ATV 4K model is more than capable of audio pass-through.
Knowing Apple way of thinking, they only offer new features on new hardware (bastards 
), I was hoping they finally decided to do this for the newer model to tempt us to buy another box.
