My newly-updated AppleTV app does not seem to respect or recognize the episode sorting choice that I set using the Plex server. I’ve selected “Newest First”, but the episodes are always displayed “Oldest First” on the app, meaning there’s often a lot of scrolling to the right just to get to the most recent episode of something. I cannot see any option to change that sort within the AppleTV app either (maybe it’s there somewhere, and I just have not found it yet). It would be nice to not have to settle for only the one sort option.
