I have an issue post iOS Plex app and firmware update PMS 1.43.4.10903, Apple TV 2026.18.0 and tvOS 26.6 where playback problems appeared after the Plex Apple TV app update while the same media played normally through Plex Web.
My NAS/Plex server
- PC Plex →
- Mobile Plex →
My Apple TV
- Plex on-demand →
- My Plex server library → browse/metadata
- My Plex server media →
I have eliminated the obvious client-side variables:
- Force Direct Play → already ON
- Cache reset → no change
- Cinema Trailers → no change
- DNS 1.1.1.1 → 8.8.8.8 → no change
- H.264 MP4 test file → still fails
- Resume → fails
- Other Plex clients → work ie. the iOS App
I am now in a state where I can’t view my media if you could respond please
