OK so first I AM willing to help here, (seems like most people just want answers).
2nd been using plex well over a decade now, and I only use it for my own personal media server. not for live tv or movies, anything like that.

Issues:
when watching any of my shows at home on my local network, they’ll do 3 things.

  1. they will randomly just bounce back to the beginning of the episode.
  2. pop up with whatever that long message is about connecting and say “retry” at teh bottom but that never works.
  3. if “skip outro” Is. on automatic, some of the outros will loop… its about a 1-2 second loop but it never stops.

the app when starting up constantly tells me its in offline mode and it usually takes about 1-2 min for it to become “online”.

The “previously watched” section (which I use more than anything on this app) is constantly wrong or simply doesn’t show what I was just watching at all.

Curious: is there a way to revert back to the old app? or is this change permanent? it sucks being such. long time supporter of something and being forced into a super buggy update that I can’t do anything about.

I’m sure the DEV’s are working hard, so cheers to you guys, I get it, nothing is easy.

Unfortunately that’s not supported by Apple and Plex isn’t likely to provide the old version.

Exactly the same thing is happening on my end, my server is fully accessible from remote port yet it is only playing in a loop first 30 seconds or so of a video. It sometimes errors out with Http request failed: /library/metadata/17649? checkFiles=1&includeChapters=1&includeMarkers=1, status: plexhost has no base uri, status: notConnected

Same here, Only happening on IOS every other device I use is working fine. This might be the last straw that moves me to something else.
