I love the unified search that allows Plex to show what is available on my other services (Apple TV+, Netflix, etc.). My question is simply this… Is there a way to have Plex notify me if there is a new episode available to view?
Let’s take the show HALO for example. Season 2 just came out and there are 2 new episodes. I can see HALO is available on my other services, if I click on the show I can see the 2 released episodes and a list of future episode release dates. That is all great. However, it can be hard to keep track on when the new episodes are released on all of these different platforms.
Is there an option in Plex to mark a show to alert me when a new episode is released? I wouldn’t want this as an library option, but rather on a show by show option. I don’t think this is currently possible in Plex, but I thought I would ask since I just started using Plex again after many years.
