[new Feature] Delete individual episode planned recordings from series recording plan

Scenario:
Live-TV/DVR configures, some TV shows set up for recording (new and repeat airings, disallow partial recordings, replace lower resolution items).

User plan:

  • Have your favorite TV shows automatically recorded (leave alone scenario)
  • grab even “repeat” airings, if these items are missing in the library
  • get better quality resolution for already existing episodes

User wish:

  • delete individual planned episode recordings (for whatever reason, is already existing, have it on DVD, do not like it) from recording overview in Plex Web.

Expected behavior:

  • If you select a single episode recording, you should be able to delete that single recording or planned recording, even if the series is configured as “record the series”.

Observed behavior:
You can only delete the planned recording of ALL episodes if you configured a TV show to be recorded.

Feature: easily remove planned recordings of “single atoms” (ie. episodes) no matter how the recording was initially configured and not automatically get them back in the recording plan after the next grid update.

Work around:
Open up a series and click to record each wanted episode individually. The draw back (apart from all the extra effort) is that future airings are not automaticallly added to the recoding plan.

This makes recording TV shows via Plex less usable in real life.

Thank you for listening.

Really? This is not a more desired feature? Wow, I am TRULY starting to see HOW GREAT Windows Media Center was and how much I will miss it. This along with keyword recording are basic features of WMC.

Why not just go with Only new recordings, because of another issue - Plex’s Guide data is horrible. Last Man Standing - which starts next week is not being shown as new, so record all or get none. great!

This feature along with keyword recording is crucial! Please get this going!
