In the new guide there is now a horizontal list of genres above the guide. Where are these populated from?
There are some very obscure ones and some obvious ones missing. For example, no documentary or drama categories.
Can they please be added, or can the list be made customisable.

Anyone from Plex able to comment on this please. Not having Drama or Documentary are pretty fundamental omissions.
Agreed. Genre checkboxes should be added to the Personalization panel in the settings so we can activate what specifically we favor for in the guide.
And WHATS ON NOW should be put back.

They’re not going to have an answer on this right away and if you want, you can recreate this question as a VOTED feature post where people can vote on it. It’s usually the small minor details that Plex often misses when they roll out these features. Some of us are going on 1+ year of not able to use Podcasts properly in Plex.
Plex could answer the first part of the question - where do these genres come from and why are fundamental ones missing.
Agree the feature request for editable genres won’t be an immediate thing.
Plex, can we have an answer please? It’s the least you can do.
