I have just updated to a new Macbook Pro and after installing Plex it is taking forever to scan the library files (about 3tb of video and audio stored on NAS) its taken over 24 hours to scan my movie library and didn’t complete it. I have since started a new scan and its taking just as long. It seems like its adding each file individually and the downloading the meta data. Any advice on speeding it up?
It has now decided that it can’t find anything in the tv shows folder.
