I’m trying to set up a server on an old Macbook Pro (running Mojave 10.14.6)
I’ve signed in and I can get to Plex preferences, but when I try to go through the media server setup wizard, none of the fields are displayed. If I click next, it just spins forever. I’ve tried with Chrome, Safari, and Firefox - all with the same results. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Spinner at the Friendly Naming step is fixed in the newest beta Plex Media Server that’s available to Plex Pass users. For the rest of the Mac user base, the patch will be in the next stable, probably 2-4 weeks away.
Workaround: you can install any of the previous PMS listed in the
Plex Media Server for Mac Version Matrix that I added
to the following post → Duplicate servers & can’t use any of them - #9 by nibbles
