I previously posted this regarding using my GoFlex Home network storage, but I have since tried this on a directly connected sata drive and it still happens. Posting here looking for assistance.
Movie, music, home videos all work fine when trying to add a new library. However, when I create a new photo library and try to look at contents, it says “unexpected error loading this library”. I’m running Plex on my personal computer where I have write access to the directly connected drive where I’m creating the library. Here is my process:
1.) Create a new folder in my C: drive or D: drive, both directly connected.
2.) Add the library and assign the new folder created in step 1 above.
3.) The screen immediately says there are no files in the library.
4.) I click out of that library, then click back into it, where it then says “unexpected error loading this library”.
Running Windows 7 SP1, Plex Server Version 1.12.2.4929 with Plex Pass.
Which logs would this type of issue be represented in? I don’t mind combing through them myself, looking for anything telling.
