Last a few weeks, it’s impossible to see Live TV with the new player. I have the Beta Version…
If I use the old player, I have subtitle on image and I can’t desactive them…
On my shield and on my Android Phone, I have the same issue.
I have this message : “An error occured while attempting to play this video. Please try to restarting both the Plex media server and this app.”
Have you the same issues?

Had this happen to me. Live TV on new player still freezes after a while sometimes, but my main issue was my router setting for DNS rebind attack protection. Check your router settings for that and see if disabling helps. Your logs can indicate if this is the problem too.
Since this afternoon, the new player and Live TV work find, but I have the subtitles on the screen with the option Subtitle desactivate… I don’t know if an update has been made on Shield.
On my phone I have always the issue.
What do you think for desactivate the subtitle on Live TV?
