It is ridiculous that the new app which looks nice imo loses all the functionality of the old and still good looking app. One thing I noticed is the changing of the icon is gone. Like it isn’t a huge deal with the amount of other issues this new app brings but like FFS can ya’ll stop taking away things. I want to change my icon, why even remove it? Like seriously do you not beta test and ask for community insight or do you like to be constantly told you ■■■■■■ up why are you so ■■■■■■■ bad?

Like I don’t understand companies who give you a basic feature, remove it and go yes this is a good idea. Like it doesn’t stress servers, doesn’t break code. They are just dumb…

on iOS at least we can using a shortcut. send this file to your phone/tablet. create a new shortcut. long press it, send to desktop. choose the new icon.
Yeah I know, just dumb we have to do this roundabout thing that was baked into the app before.

I second this. Very annoyed at the new update which removes basic features including changing the app icon. I don’t like the default icon, i think it looks supremely ugly. Please give us this feature back. I’m leaving a negative review on the App Store until it is fixed
Any update on this? I’m going to have to put Plex in a folder as the new icon is so ugly. I know I’m being melodramatic but I clashes with everything else on my Home Screen and I hate it.
Took me an hour to even get into the app only to discover this ugly icon is the only option.
