Server Version#: latest ( 1.25.5.5492 ) for Windows
Over the last few versions of Plex Media Server, the (new) Music Agent keeps on scanning my music over and over and it never stops, which means Plex doesn’t scan any of my other libraries (TV shows, Movies) to pick up new media.
It doesn’t specifically say it’s trying to make sonic analyses, just scanning. I often see media that’s been in my collection for years, so not sure why it needs to be rescanned.
It will often even ignore when I tell PMS to stop the scan.
When reverting the library to use a legacy music scanner, the problem stops.
