Music Scan keeps going and can't be stopped after adding new album

So I’ve searched the forum and there are some similar posts but no answers.

Every time I add a new album to plex music, after adding the album, the music scan just continues forever (until I close and reopen the server). I hit the CANCEL SCAN button and it does NOTHING. There has to be a way to cancel the never-ending music scan. I let it run for DAYS before but it still want to scan forever. I have a rather large music folder, with lots of VARIOUS ARTIST albums (which I think might be part of the issue) but still…

IS THERE SOMEBODY FROM PLEX THAT CAN HELP ME???
THE ONLY WAY TO STOP A NEVER-ENDING MUSIC SCAN IS TO SHUT DOWN PLEX…
The longer the scan goes - the more often Plex becomes unavailable to use on any device.

THERE MUST BE A SOLUTION OR AT LEAST SOMEONE TO TRY TO HELP.
