New Plex server, installed on linux server, looking for media in wrong drive

Server Version#:Version 4.148.0
Player Version#:donno
Hi brains trust

I’ve just built my ubuntu based home server. I’ve installed plex as instructed and can see it’s working, sort of. Problem is its connected to the wrong internal drive. I have 1 ssd for the system etc, and another 4T HDD for media. This is mounted and works fine for all other purposes (can see it on my PC and laptop, phone).

When i try to set the folder, it goes to the system drive, which has no media on it. I don’t know how to change it to media drive. Please help!

Strangely though it has the same drive name (drive2), which is where my HDD drive is mounted.

Checked, the only mount for drive2 is the HDD, so can’t explain this.

Need details:

  1. /etc/fstab where things are mounted
  2. Copy/Paste of the “df -h” output from the console,
  3. For each library section not working as you expect, show the paths used.

Not sure about the fsab (can’t get it to show - sorry i’m brand new to this). I am using samba if that helps.

sdb3 is where it should be looking.

Honestly i don’t even know where it is looking, at, although it does state drive2 (but does not look at drive2…)

The Plex media server is installed on the SSD, but the stored media is on a separate HDD, which is mounted as sdb3, drive2.

I cannot locate this drive via the plex ap.

On reflection, its looking at either sba1 or two, and not sdb3 where it should be looking. No idea why it’s saying its looking at ‘drive2’ when it isn’t.
