It’s pretty obvious with the terrible new release of the roku app that Plex honestly doesn’t care about user experience. They are able to easily ignore us here in the forums.
There is no way that they didn’t realize that several aspects of functionality simply didn’t work with the release nor is there a chance that they didn’t know that the ‘on demand’ and ‘discover’ garbage they have been pushing magically appears regardless of user settings to turn it off.
I wonder what would happen if instead of complaining here, if roku started getting reached out to instead. Something like,

“The recent Plex app update on Roku has severely degraded the user experience with poor navigation, crashes, and loss of features. I request Roku to work with Plex to address these issues or allow rollback to the previous version.”
I wonder how quickly Plex would magically realize they made a mistake if enough people reached out to Roku.
