Just a couple of UX observations:

  • It’s good that the search results identify the Plex Server that each result come from, but it would be nice if the Results also identified the Library. Maybe something like this:

  • Although I’m glad that the search result page no longer has horizontal scrolling :partying_face: , I miss the fact that results were categorized by type. Currently (viewing “Music” results), I might see an Artist, then a couple of Tracks from my Classical Library, then some Albums from my Pop library, then another Artist, then some more Tracks from the Pop library, Tracks from Classical, etc…

I realize I’m using very broad search terms in order to get a long list of results, but, hey, that’s what I do. :upside_down_face:

Looks like a great addition to me… Doesn’t take up much space, won’t inconvenience anyone who doesn’t care about it, and adding text is probably one of the cheapest updates you could ask for.

The ability to narrow down the search by including year, ie:

movie title 1978

Many times I type in the name and I’ll get so many irrelevant results from tv series, dvr listings etc that might “mention” my search word(s). Yesh!
