Hello, I would like to propose a new option for the future of plexamp. It would be great to have a new section within the app that was an imdb-style music database, to be able to search for any artist or biography regardless of whether it is in your library or not.
So that music lovers would have access to any information about artists that we would like to know more about.
The style could be like the website imdb, musicbee (has an artist search section), rateyourmusic or musicboard.
With this option, Plexamp would be the Google of music.

There’s already an existing suggestion for Plex to expand its Discover features to Music (and making it available in the various apps, like Plexamp). Please comment/vote in that thread in order to help us avoid distracting or cannibalizing votes.
Unless I’m missing some unique aspect of your suggestion I’ll close this thread as a duplicate.
