I’ve created a 2nd server. The libraries were added and scanned (completed two weeks ago), and I’ve turned off automatic scanning (cloud storage). I use the API to update Plex with individual episodes and movies (Autoscan).
The issue I am experiencing is that the server is constantly requesting data on the content and I’m not sure why. Here is a snippet from my cloud console with the number of requests:
I have a large library, over 130k items, but the server has done over 5m requests:
I don’t see anything strange here. All the scans are being requested externally for specific paths, looks maybe something like a third-party script (like Autoscan) requesting these.
Buongiorno dall’ultimo aggiornamento non capisco più la libreria musica.
Se si aggiunge una cartella scansiona per ore tutta la libreria ho disattivato tutto, ma continua a scansionare.
Thanks for the response. I also thought it might be autoscan but autoscan doesn’t run on the server, it’s on the feeder box.
I can see the requests being made in the console and in the logs, but I don’t understand why all these requests are being made. My other server doesn’t make this many requests.
