Are there any plans to update the user interface in the near future? I’ve been using Plex for a long time, and I’d really appreciate having more customization options, such as different color themes instead of just black, as well as a more modern overall look and feel.
Are you asking with a specific app in mind?
Well, I use Android TV, it can be an external application if it can be customized with it. I have a lot of applications that are already because of Plex that I really like… (Overseer, Agregarr, Sonarr, Radarr, Tautulli,…) It’s just that the look has changed minimally in, say, 3-4 years. And yes, I have a Plex pass.
Plex have just started the preview of the new experience app on Android TV.

Could anybody tell me how i change the option what tab i open in on Movies and TV?
I am taken into Recommended instead of my old setting Browse, in the old version you could pick but now it seems to have been removed or hidden.
I have looked all over but a cannot find its really annoying all this clicking 6 times to do 1 option.
As mentioned looks great but the friction added is poor IMHO. I like change for the better not added friction and hidden settings .
Sorry but finding it so frustrating to navigate. Out of interest is it possible to roll back on Nvidia Shield ?
With the old version, you had an option to „remember“ the previously selected tab.
In the current preview, you can set an app-wide preference which tab to show as default: see Settings > Experience > Default Library View
