New TV app missing 4K transcoding

The option to transcode 4K video files to 4K in a different quality seems to have disappeared with the renewed Plex app which is horrendously inconvenient. Plex app on Apple TV won’t always correctly play Dolby Vision files, sometimes in other files audio issues occur too. My workaround was to simply select a different 4K quality setting and it would work great.

But that now has been taken away, and why? I don’t want to transcode to 1080p medium which now seems to be the highest possible option :\

It’s infuriating that small apple store apps like Rivulet can deliver high quality and consistent 4k playback including rich metadata, while Plex ATV app just spins and spins on 4k Dolby Atmos files after ATV app auto upgrades.

Where’s the bar on quality and testing at Plex right now ?
