Last night I was playing all my content from my server just fine but this update is breaking everything.
-I can no longer direct play any of my files
-The up next playlist view is gone
-The play next button is gone
-Because I am forced to transcode now, the transcoding is breaking my audio, everything is at half volume, my speakers are now at 2x the normal volume, just so i can hear it again
Anyone else having these issues? I tried reverting back to an older version, but when I do, I can not log in, so no access to my server or content
Mine is different. I keep getting buffering because I think it won’t transcode server-side at all. I reverted back to 10.26.0 which works for me, and turned auto-updates off.
I can’t stream to my google home device anymore. Any time I try to stream an episode of something, it buffers, then skips to the next episode, and then to the next, etc etc all without displaying any content.
I had the exact same issue yesterday after they snuck the update into my phone (is that even legal?). The same exact issues are plaguing my chromecast set-up. I just gave up out of frustrated misery. We will just have to wait until a 3rd party fix comes up or the team decides to stop gaslighting us into thinking this is working as intended. They do not seem to care about creating delightful software anymore.
