I have everything on a Windows 10 Home, Intel i5, 8GB Ram, etc. However, this morning while trying to use Plex Roku app constantly, we are having troubles. I am streaming Bluey episodes for my toddler, which are 7 minutes long. We can get through about two episodes and then everything just falls apart.
I will either get a blank Home Screen on Plex, or the 33% screen, or I can get to the main poster for Bluey but can’t get anything to load when I press Okay on the remote. I was able to get it to work again by restarting my roku (twice worked) and uninstalling and reinstalling Plex (tried & worked once). I just wanted to relax for a bit, but after 14 minutes I’ve got my toddler screaming MORE over and over again while I pray that the Plex will start working again.
My FIL is currently watching my kiddo and watching YouTube without issue, but the only reason he is watching YouTube is because Plex still wasn’t working after an episode finished.
I tried to watch the dashboard while they were watching an episode, but I didn’t see anything odd happening, it just said 7:51 / 7:49 minutes and was off downstairs on roku, and wasn’t loading the next episode. Finally, the Plex server just said nothing was playing at the moment.
I purchased PlexPass because I really want to utilize and consolidate our videos, but this morning was a headache.
