I would like to see the PROGRAMMERS who release the updates, use beta testers before these updates are loaded to the site for downloading by members!!! They are routinely released with serious BUGS! This was ALWAYS the practice of Microsoft to the point that many members of the Chicago Computer Society have been switching to Linux, etc. (I switched to the MAC)
The DVR is the BEST feature of PLEX! However, it is always plagued by frequent bugs. Some are caught fairly quickly, BUT many continue to he point of being a continuing pain in the BUTT!
The newest update was beneficial in that the increased band width (for lack of a better term) made it possible to record TV series on lesser channels that PLEX wasn’t able to record. However, the DVR is now recording duplicates of the same movies!!
Then when deleting one or both of the duplicates it will delete permanent copies that were being saved.
One past and continuing problem is that the metadata often does not match the titles or other info, i.e. description,
It’s wonderful having a professional techie in my daughter, so she can correct things at times that I want to save long term.
I just hope this post will actually be accepted, because I do not want to continually enter the asked for Server Version, etc.,

Tuner Make/Model: LG (This TV manufacturer has some compatibility problems with PLEX!)
Also, posting here usually does nothing to peak the interest of the “powers that be!”
