This morning when opening Plex player on windows I was greeted with a message that there is an update. So I updated the app. Now when I click the full screen arrows in the top right corner it still goes full screen with the exception that the Windows start bar is across the bottom of the screen IN FRONT of the app instead of behind it like every other normal program.
I have restarted my computer multiple times and nothing works. The plex web app works fine when at fullscreen. Why is this happening? Is this an error? Are you going to tell me to remove the app and reinstall it?
I’m not having the same issue, but also seeing a problem with going full screen on the latest player version - the exit full screen arrows no longer appear for me, so I can only get out of the app by Win+D.

Fixed this in 1.8.1.

I’m not familiar with any changes in 1.8.x which would have caused this. I looked into this issue report when investigating our window handling for the 1.9 release; another user had reported a similar issue in the past.
I wasn’t able to reproduce the fullscreen behind task bar issue on Windows 10. Tried with the taskbar auto hiding enabled and disabled. If we can reproduce we’ll stand a better chance of nuking this behavior.
